01 / THE GUIDE
Room Mapping
Sketch each room you visit, noting door counts and any visible Effects. Comparing sketches reveals layout patterns and helps locate the multi‑door rooms needed for discarding Effects.
- Count exits in each room; many‑door rooms are required for discarding Effects.
- Look for recurring visual motifs that often indicate areas where Effects may be hidden.
02 / THE GUIDE
Effect Inventory Log
Record every Effect you acquire together with the character or item that granted it. This log clarifies which Effects remain undiscovered and which can be toggled with the numeric keypad.
- After applying an Effect, try both the 1 and 3 keys to discover its animation.
- Plan a route that includes a multi‑door room before attempting to discard unwanted Effects.

03 / THE GUIDE
Animation Timing Test
After activating an Effect, press 1 then 3 in quick succession to see if both animations trigger. Noting response times can highlight any input lag on your system.
- If the screen looks stretched, press F4 to toggle Window mode.
- Alt + Enter offers an alternative shortcut for the same purpose.
04 / THE GUIDE
Locale Comparison
Run the game once with an English locale and once with a Japanese locale. Observe any differences in text rendering or stability to confirm the locale dependency.
- Adjust your OS locale to Japanese if you want to play the original language version.
- Restart the computer after changing the locale to ensure the setting takes effect.
05 / THE GUIDE
Display Mode Experiment
Switch between Fullscreen and Window mode using F4 and Alt + Enter at various points. Record any changes in aspect ratio or visual glitches to determine the most stable setting.
- Use the documented key actions for full Effect functionality; controller input may be limited.
- Family Sharing allows other accounts on the same PC to launch the game.
