Plan your next Morphblade session
Our independent guide walks you through Morphblade’s core systems, helping you observe how hex abilities interact, how upgrades stack, and how grid design shapes each wave without relying on hidden tricks.
01 / THE GUIDE
Weapon Flow Mapping
Sketch a short path of three hexes—Blade, Arrow, Hammer. Note the weapon change at each step and estimate how many enemies each move could hit in a single pass.
- Consider placing Repair hexes where you frequently pass after a hard wave to regain health before the next encounter.
- Use Teleport hexes to shorten travel distance and reach distant weapon types quickly.
02 / THE GUIDE
Upgrade Combination Test
Apply the Arrow‑with‑Acid upgrade to a single hex. Play a wave and record how many armored bugs you defeat compared with using a plain Arrow.
- Focus upgrades on the hex you use most often to build a reliable core attack.
- Experiment with stacking different abilities to discover combos that suit the current wave composition.

03 / THE GUIDE
Grid Expansion Strategy
After a wave, add one Teleport and one Repair hex to a fresh grid. Observe how the new layout affects your ability to reposition and recover health in the following wave.
- Plan your movement path to maximize the number of enemies hit per hex activation.
- Deploy Acid hexes early against armored bugs to reduce their durability for the remainder of the wave.
04 / THE GUIDE
Healing Efficiency Review
Track damage taken before stepping on a Repair hex versus after. Then test a Teleport‑with‑Repair upgrade to see if added mobility changes survivability.
- Place Teleport hexes near the center for easy access to distant sections of the grid.
- Balance offensive and defensive hexes to keep options open when bug patterns become unpredictable.

Family Sharing Experience
Invite another Steam user via Family Sharing and let them play a full session. Note any differences in how the game feels when a different player uses the same machine.
- Use Family Sharing to let a friend or family member try the game on your computer.
- Since the game is single‑player, each player experiences the same content without competitive interaction.
